US Constitution: There is no room for an exempt from due process

As lawyers and public officials, President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have a constitutional duty to be categorical in their statements regarding their official positions. Failure to do so could result in a violation of their oaths of office and potentially lead to legal consequences. Under Article II, Section 1 of the U.S. Constitution, the President and Vice President are required to faithfully execute the laws and fulfill their respective duties. This includes being clear and unambiguous in their public statements about their official capacities. If they fail to do so, they could be accused of misprision of felony, which is the failure to report a felony committed in their presence. Misprision of felony is a federal offense that carries a potential penalty of up to three years in prison and a fine. In this context, if Biden or Harris were to intentionally or recklessly fail to clarify their official positions during public appearances or official statements, they coul...

Rishi v Liz Conservative Leadership Contest

Just days after the England's historic win in the Euro 2022 women's final and an all-time record audience in Wembley's all 23 players in the squad have penned an open letter to the next leader of the conservative party who will automatically become the next UK Prime minister when the results of the leadership contest will be announced on September 5th. In an open letter to Rishi and Liz they (the players) have asked to treat women's football on par with the men. This came suddenly as a result of the UK Prime minister made an announcement to cut and not to keep the women's football on par with the men. The open letter has drawn more attention and openness from the government, because of the historic win and brought home the EURO Cup to England after 56 years. The contest is on between two conservative leaders Liz and Rishi from door-to-door to TV debates to draw attention to get support for them when the vote comes in. So going all out to get public and ...

Liz Truss will be the next Prime Minister?

Here's what I've in my opinion. The results will be announced on September the 5th as to who becomes the conservative leader. The race is between two parties Liz Truss and Rishi Sunak the former Chancellor. Long story short the story started when top MPs in the cabinet started falling and the Prime Minister was to make clear his position. He resigned as the leader of the conservative party keeping the job as the Interim Prime Minister until the next conservative leader is elected who will become the next Prime Minister. This will happen soon after the house of commons meets next after the summer recess. There are two more years to complete before a general election can next be held. The foreign secretary Liz Truss and the former chancellor are the final contenders in the race to become the next leader of the conservative party and automatically will be the next prime minister. The issues on which they got elected briefly was on: 1. Brexit: Soon after boris johnson...

The next person should have this quality to become a leader

This question is so important as to who will take after boris johnson as the next leader of the conservative party? Two contestants in the race is not my obvious choice for the reason below: 1. Rishi Sunak for the simple reason that he doesn't command the respect of the people. It's a waste trying him. It's like trying out a shirt or pant in the trial room and then rejecting it because it wasn't your fit. This isn't a trial room in a showroom. It takes purpose, responsibility and a clear reason for running the race. In all three counts Rishi fails. I'm not going in from what he did in the past or what he said. I'm seeing in the present coming to this conclusion. In short he has no fire. 2. Penny Mordaunt: Again for the same reason, but slightly different. She too doesn't have the fire. If she is here only to eliminate the male bastions, then she is wrong. Nothing except her first name and nothing beyond it can explain any of the above thre...
