Rwanda II

The Home Secretary blaming Boris Johnson for ill-handling of the refugees question, quoting words from Churchill is dismissive and mis-conduct for a first time minister. Openly she has spoken how her functioning in the Cabinet will reflect in the coming days and months. It's an ill-choice of the Prime Minister Liz Truss to have given her a responsibility she will fail at. Hopefully blaming an outspoken former Prime Minister for failures of his Cabinet to U-turn at a time when he needed their support and the Prime Minister knows this very well. However, the Prime Minister has a much bigger job at hand than to just run the country. With due respect to the Home Secretary Suella Braverman, she needs to understand her job well and shut her mouth.

45p 'Distraction'

This is exactly the Chancellor has admitted for scraping the 45p income tax concession. We saw the pound crash and the dissent and opposition from the public, the MPs and the constituents. There wasn't given an appropriate reason for not going through it in the budget. Instead Chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng has said it as a good policy, but has been a great 'distraction.' Whatever it is now Prime Minister has to come up with another same proposal with the same intention of introducing 45p tax cut. The tax cut if it had gone through would have benefited millions. It's the duty of the Prime Minister to bring an alternative proposal and not a new proposal. Prime Minister Liz Truss clearly understands with just a month in the job she has faced the biggest rebuttal of her two-year government. Before the next General Elections Prime Minister Truss has an obligation and responsibility for all her actions for the next 2 years until her Government shall remain in power. P
