In the heartland, there was once an idyllic town called Havenwood, nestled in the midst of rolling hills and verdant forests. It was a place where the sun always shone, the air was crisp and clean, and the people were kind and generous. But all that changed one fateful day when a man named Marcus took power. In a society that values justice and equality, the notion of being above the law is anathema. It is a concept that is deeply ingrained in our collective conscience, and one that we all subscribe to. However, there are rare instances when individuals, often in positions of power and influence, begin to believe that they are above the law. This belief can be dangerous and corrosive to the fabric of society, as it undermines the very foundations of democracy and rule of law. The first instance when an individual cannot think otherwise and believes they are above the law is when they have absolute power. Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Those who hold power over others often begin to believe that they have the right to do whatever they please, regardless of the consequences.
