Wrestlers Protest: Justice for wrestlers Part 3

The age should be taken into consideration of the athletes and why it is important for them now? By this time these athletes would have been practicing for the upcoming game which is not happening. Money cannot buy respect. You must work for it. These women have worked and earned it. Not having to go into all details the matter should have been resolved by now taking into the importance of sports, the case is being let to slip and fade away. Never let sports to slip into politics and these women wrestlers haven’t got themselves involved in politics. Taking into the consideration all the positive sides to the protest a quick decision needs to taken as quickly as possible. This is not a show of strength to see who finally wins and who was right in the least?

Ukraine: Russia carries out mad airstrikes on Kyiv

This is completely insane on part of Russia to carry out airstrikes on Kyiv in daylight. On both sides the parties don’t seem to be strong enough to carry on with this war. Without a clear deadline for this war the war can take more ugly proportions in the coming days. Hopefully, both Ukraine and Russia must put down all weapons down in the coming days otherwise only a catastrophic event will bring an end to this war more likely soon. Here are a few suggestions for Russia and Ukraine for a negotiated settlement: 1. 2. 3. 4.

Wrestlers Protest: Justice for wrestlers Part 2

Was it wrong on part of the harassed women wrestlers to protest silently? The way they are mishandled by the bureaucracy is a clear blot on Indian democracy and the way our politicians behave once they are given power. The case is about sexual harassment in the hands of a politician Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh and the party to which he belongs happens to be the BJP the ruling party in the centre. Nothing so far has been done except the case against the defending party is in the court. The case is of sexual harassment which hitherto has not been heard about from the sports fraternity in India. The question is do the victims have to wait for an action on behalf of the BJP from the government? We have heard of such incidents abroad as was in the case of Brittney Griner. It is time for our politicians and political parties to open their eyes. India cannot pride itself of anything in this country, if sports doesn’t get it’s right treatment.

SUDAN: Conflict intensifies in Khartoum Part 2

In response to a comment that I posted to a video on YouTube stressing the fact and questioning what the UK has achieved so far through diplomacy. A good hearted person has replied saying in the last war many countries had given them refuge and now let them die just like animals. Giving a helping hand or refuge to someone is humane in nature, but beyond that giving a home or an address to someone alone isn’t just complete. The UK has not seen the obvious and that’s my point. If you give a coin to a beggar you’re also helping him. As elected officials you’re responsible to do more not just resettling someone. So if you’re treating refugees also as beggars that was not my question? My question doesn’t need me to question a second time.

Sudan: Conflict intensifies in Khartoum

As we hear it in the news the conflict in Sudan has intensified and also heart breaking news of the attitudes of governments. Not even one hundred percent justice is being done by the governments who claim to be peacemakers. Unless and until your, very family is affected by crisis or because of conflict a crisis or conflict is not going to affect who call themselves as ministers, lawmakers, heads of government and the titles given to these people is endless and the list goes long like qualifications behind names. There is no sign or clear interest shown by anyone. As such like everywhere else people are only interested in themselves and not in the people who are the big suffers. Elections are being seen as a wheel of fortune and as an opportunity make money. How will any such pitiable people be able to talk of diplomacy in Sudan, let alone do something or even fend for themselves?

Ron Desantis: Not my hype type of person for the job

Heard it in the news that the Florida Governor could not get his announcement on Twitter due to some technicality on time, not his baby anyway! But, Ron has not done anything further to make matters better for his supporters. The issue might be small, but not small enough that can put in the backburner. In the event that if he is elected as the President of the United States he would do the same thing if something does not pan out correctly from his view point. A hard line conservative! He is not fast enough to see the problems coming and prepare himself and others for any eventuality. If he is going to use his office as the president to sail through his term in office there is not going to be much difference between him and someone who will be helping others to make money letting his own ship to sink. So far there is no announcement from Ron Desantis with the problem on twitter and nothing seems to be forthcoming from him or his campaign team. This is the time America is facing and ha

Uvalde: Unanswered questions still not having an answer to parent’s questions

Last year in 2022 exactly 365 days past a school in the Texas state in the US came under a violent attack which involved a mass shooter randomly shooting kids in a classroom. It is believed the mass shooter who was neutralized and killed later was a former student from the same school. There are many questions still unanswered to the parents of the lost children who haven’t got any reply so far. This shooting is of utmost importance because one year after it still worries other parents in other places whether the same thing would ever happen to their children too in the future? Now given the nature of the time, place and the shooter there needs only one question that needs answer would answer all other questions surrounding the suspense around this one of a kind instance in the US which is always coming under such attacks similar and same from other places in the US frequently. Where does the problem really lie is it with the school, the authority or the parents to be more careful and

DeSantis: 2024 run announcement is coming on Twitter

It is very clear if DeSantis decides to come up first to announce his run in 2024 on any social media platform this will be biggest duck ever to be cooked. Let Desantis care about America first and not any other person , or country outside of America. A few good interviews will be good than a whole campaign announced for a big election on social media. You must be creative and must not rely on Elon Musk, Twitter or anyone to do it for you. It is my assessment that Desantis is not going to win the elections in 2024 and a big lesson for Silicon Valley to follow suit after that.

Wrestlers Protest: Justice for wrestlers

Where are the people who once cheered them when they won medals for the country from the state and the country? Where is the President of India who awarded medals and citations for these sportswomen on Republic Day? The question is not whether the prime minister of the country or the ministers, the question is what happened to women sports and women sportspersons when the President of the country is also a woman? Does the President want to wait for another six months for the protests to go on?

Rohingya: Refugees a growing cultural problem

Whether it is Ukrainians fleeing Ukraine for fear of their lives, US border crisis, the problem with Palestine and the Rohingya refugees. One thing is common to all problems the people fleeing or being pushed out of their homelands for fear of their lives in search of shelter to neighboring countries and friends. Now what brings this problem to this extent? Not the same attention is given to all children. A father can have more than two wives separately bringing one children from the same father, but from two different mothers. Each mother wants her child or son to be the successor of the father after him and this brings in a conflict between brothers in the same family. The stronger one tries to seize the power from the other who is younger or weaker. The weaker one is forced to leave the home to some place where he or she becomes a refugee. The separation is caused due to a lack of understanding and a lack of cultural knowledge in the family. When the problem increases in numbers a

Open AI: Fears and benefits rising from this part 2

In the earlier part of the discussion we discussed the how dangerous could AI pose in the future. We saw that there will not be much difference from the past with newer dangers newer technologies could pose. We already have good policemen everywhere to stop anything before it turns ugly, and also how if it gets into bad hands how bad and much uglier it will be for the people and the society as in the cases of communist run countries and the dictators. We anything to evolve naturally will be best thing to do, but that will not always be the case. The yardstick of caution we can take is to educate the people on newer technologies and about newer things. The best and the good education must not be only for the privileged. In order to do that it is not alone enough to open newer libraries. Education must be taken to the people. We need a revolution to stop people destroying our education system. In the same vein we shall see what is a chatbot? We can put it as a smaller version of AI

Open AI: Fears and benefits rising from this

We need to rewind a few decades two to three decades behind when computer or the digital revolution started by Microsoft changed the way we work, the way we dress and the places we go. Except for a few lessons from this revolution everything else is fine until today. The same was also before the digital revolution and we learnt lessons also from it too. This too will be the same with Open AI also. This is just moving ahead from where we are now. So talking about surrendering the research, the growth and the benefits of AI to the state will be suicidal. Whether you ask for it or you don’t ask for it the left will always be for every opportunity to seize. Our forefathers and great grandfathers have been through the terrible days of Hitler and we till today remember the times of WWI and WWII and the Russians under Stalin in the recent past. The only caution to observe is not to let the research, development and the benefits of AI go into the wrong hands and the wrong people.  We m

Vladimir Kara-Murza: Mother of critic dares Putin

After being a vocal and one of the prominent critics of Vladimir Putin and a 25 year prison sentence served on him, Vladimir Kara-Murza’s spirit is still optimistic, says his mother. Can Putin dare to silence Vladimir Kara-Murza’s mother and if he does how many Vladimir Kara-Murza like mothers can Putin silence?

Trump: Town hall meeting, answering questions live to CNN

Trump: Town hall meeting, answering questions live to CNN This guy far from appearing what he shows himself to others is more dangerous in comparison to his 2020 election counter-part. The sticking point is still is, whether this guy is cognitively dissonant is making others mad in his own party. The next question coming is the opinion polls show him in his own party as the unfavourable choice in 2024. No other presidents before in previous history have polled in so appalling low numbers. It has now come clear the Democrats are revolving around Biden like atoms around an axis only to silence the tax policy followed by Biden administration. A dismal fiscal policy would mean, that is almost certain going to happen will send the stock market crashing, prices rising and send the US economy policies to dither. This guy far from fearing he enjoys honey mooning Jill is his home state Delaware.

Title 42: Coming to an end soon

What happens when title 42 ends? The simple answer is open borders, illegal migrants entering the US, something the White House has been silent over in the past two and half years. The bill was introduced during the Trump era which is now near ending. There are no two ways to protect human rights and stopping illegal immigration. The former can happen if you allow Title 42 to end without a new renewal of the bill. The latter involves great foreign policy strategies to stop illegal migration. Both are now under serious threat as the bill is soon to end. The 2024 election cannot be fought genuinely without good foreign policy relations. Whoever, comes as the new President will have to deal with a dead foreign policy if the bill ends. The blow could be felt everywhere globally with the US foreign policy. If this is allowed to end there would be no use of the US once again boasting itself of great foreign relations. A deliberate expiry of the Title 42 would undermine all past foreign polic

E Jean Carroll: Former President found guilty in New York Court House case

The case and the court fining the former president in a sexual assault case in a three-hour trial is not everything. Donald Trump’s lawyers say they will go on appeal against the judgement, while the former president has said, “this is a disgrace of the court and the constitutional functioning in the US adding that he doesn’t know the woman or having met her before.” Whether the woman or Mr. Trump is true to their statement, given their ages it’s possible that both could lie. In case of an appeal the court must take seriously their ages in concern before passing any fresh judgment. Otherwise, as per the present judgment Mr. Trump will pay $5 million dollars in fine for sexually assaulting a woman. In that case, this would be first case of its kind of a former US president fined in a sexual assault case.

King's Coronation: Concert and celebrations

A whopping 100 million pounds was set aside for the occasion. All except a few stray incidents of anti-monarchy protests was seen otherwise marked by concert and celebrations. Indeed a big occasion in the UK and a reason for celebration and it was seen globally.

King Charles: Down to dearth royal walkabout

On the eve of King Charles coronation tomorrow today the 5th of May, 2023 the to-be coroneted King Charles along with his successor and son the Prince and Princesses of Wales came to meet the public. Exactly after nine months of the passing away of the Queen shortly after her platinum jubilee the new king’s coronation is scheduled to take place tomorrow the 6th of May, 2023. Some of the public who attended the Queen’s funeral also made it again for the coronation tomorrow. In contrast to an extravagant ceremony for Queen Elizabeth II coronation only a limited number of guests about 2000 were invited. The Prince and the Princess of Wales were seen moving around and meeting the public like his father King Charles. The weather was pretty good outside. No sign of a bad weather or a bad weather forecast for today and tomorrow.  Millions of online and TV viewers from abroad and in the UK are expected to see the coronation tomorrow from their homes. The expenditure is put at 100 million pound

Vinesh Phogat: A wrestler’s woes after becoming a star wrestler for her country

If a person is stopped from making his or her woes directly when how he or she feels after becoming a star athlete for the country to which he or she belongs could be the biggest harassment for the athlete representing her country abroad. This could be highest form of curtailing the freedom of speech in the country. This is exactly what happened in the case of Vinesh   Phogat after she spoke about her case to the PM Mr. Narendra Modi openly about the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) she represents for her country. She has hence received harassment from the Sports Minister Anurag Thakur that has since brought the Federation to its knees in the form of protests by the wrestlers at the Capital in Jantar Mantar. With support against all forms of red tapism and to stop it is not in effect taken place. All we can expect in the future is a fine here and there to stop any protest happening in the future. This has all happened so far. Unless we get a moral from this story shall we see some

Khartoum: The fight turns more cholic as each day passes by

With the two factions of the army and the RSF becoming greed over to hold on power, the situation is becoming more cholic by the passing of each day. Although both the rivals claim more rights to have the power to make Sudan a democratic nation and run by a democratically elected government neither of the them the Army Chief or the RSF Leader have seemed to agree onto whom to handover the military to when Sudan turns into a democracy and this the reason why both of them are eyeing for the top most army chief position. As the fight continues into the fourth week with hundreds of civilians dead and thousands fleeing the capital Khartoum to places of safety, the UN has already warned that the fight could engulf the entire region of Sudan. Foreign nationals are in the process of evacuation of their nationals by ship, boats and flights. If the fight continues and spreads to other areas Sudan can look like a graveyard by the end of the fight. A window for negotiation has still not materi

WH: Correspondents Dinner

Well I’m writing this post prior to start of the correspondent’s dinner in the White House. Watched one of Fox News broadcast prior to the dinner and decided to write this. They are uncertain about how the dinner presided over by Joe Biden is going to be. Exactly, they are all describing it like five blind men describing an elephant. But, exactly this is how it is going to be. Joe will play the joker and that it will end too as Joe becoming the joker.
