Satellite Dishes Smuggled into Sudan Offer Lifeline Amidst Ongoing Conflict

In war-torn Sudan, smuggled Starlink satellite dishes have become a lifeline for some individuals, offering them a vital connection to the outside world. These dishes, which are designed to provide high-speed internet access, have been secretly brought into the country, bypassing government restrictions and bringing hope to those who need it most. Starlink, a satellite internet service developed by SpaceX, was primarily designed to provide internet connectivity to remote areas with limited or no access to traditional broadband services. However, in war-torn regions like Sudan, where internet infrastructure has been severely damaged or destroyed, Starlink dishes have become a valuable tool for communication and information gathering. The smuggled dishes have allowed people in Sudan to access news, stay connected with family and friends, and even conduct business transactions. They have also provided a crucial link to humanitarian organizations, enabling them to better understand the sit...

Embracing Faith and Resilience: Sudan in Ramadan Amidst Challenges and Devotion

Sudan, a country in northeastern Africa, is currently experiencing a multitude of challenges. As the month of Ramadan commences, the people of Sudan find themselves entangled in a complex web of difficulties. This period of religious significance for Muslims worldwide serves as an opportunity for reflection, spiritual growth, and unity. Sudan conflict: Conflict of interests leads nowhere

As I have earlier posted a conflict of interest in Sudan has led the war to nowhere, except for millions of individuals separated from their families and forcing them to flee to places of safety. Especially for women and children and pregnant women, because of lack of healthcare facilities from closed or lack of staff to run them, water shortage, food and electricity etc. Although there has been international efforts to transport the affected people to safer places and to providing food etc. this has not been fully able to operate because of a conflict of interests at the top. Hence, hundreds and thousands of newer stories are heard on a daily basis on the current situation, although there is just one story to tell why this conflict actually started? More and more nursing newborns and prophylactic women are camping near the borders to escape the dangers of rivalry in the region. Their life remains unsecured for the young men & women as to what kind of future they will have in Sudan...
