Sriharikota: Chandrayan-3 launch successful

Previous to this post I said that Chandrayan-3 in order to complete its mission successfully i.e. it requires a soft landing and then the experimental rover will first hatch from the Lander and starting sending communication to the earth station in Sriharikota which will be doing experiments of moon surface. The next two stages are important and prior to that first the rocket must enter to the moon’s orbit from the earth’s orbit which is at presently it is doing. ISRO has plan to send Chandrayan-4 if this Chandrayan-3 mission is successful. After sending our Rover on the moon surface the next obvious thing is to send man to the moon. When we compare ISRO work with NASA price wise ours is lot cheaper, secondly the time taken for the rocket to leave the earth’s orbit and enter into the moon’s orbit NASA just took 4 days, whereas we will be doing it in 40 days. Next, the size and the weight ours is lot less than NASA. Our final goal will be land our man on the moon. A small suggestion to ...

Sriharikota: India’s Moon mission

Less than an hour ago India launched its moon mission. If it succeeds then India will be fourth nation after the US and China to have its own research on the moon. Prior to this India had sent Chandrayan-1 and Chandrayan-2. The first one was to orbit around the moon and Chandrayan-2 was to soft land on the moon surface, but that did not happen with problem with the Lander and the final stage of exiting the robot from the Lander did not happen. This time India expects it to do successfully for a soft landing and then the robot coming out from the Lander and helping in doing experiments surface of the moon from ISRO stations on earth. That moment of entering the fourth stage was a big moment of pride and joy to everyone who were involved from the development of the launcher to the robot that would be sending communication to earth. Sixty years before Vikram Sarabhai had dreamt of exploring the space on its own and it has once again been realized. Before ISRO starts receiving communicatio...
