The best move in the October 7th massacre to recover the bodies of half of the dead Israeli hostages still in the hands of Hamas would be for Israel to engage in a diplomatic solution that involves international mediation. This would require Israel to demonstrate a willingness to negotiate and compromise, as well as a commitment to respecting human rights and international law. Firstly, Israel should reach out to the international community, including the United Nations and other major world powers, to seek their assistance in securing the release of the remaining hostages' bodies.
