Elon Musk

Impressed with his words, that's my inspiration for this story. Does anyone know who first started sending money online? Okay the credit goes to Elon Musk. Started with his brother came to known as Paypal. He said one time if everyone is working for eight hours and you also do the same thing, you'll reach success just as them. If you wish to be on the top you must put in 16 hours when everyone is just doing eight hours. Today Elon Musk doesn't need an introduction to anyone. He is today the wealthiest man on the earth. I'm only going to concentrate on his achievements and failures before he came to be known as where he is today. He is the owner of the electric vehicle company Tesla, the founder of Space-X in collaboration with NASA sending and launching rockets to the space. To his record his rockets leave to space every six days, that's his achievement. His first three rocket launchings failed miserably and he almost became a bankrupt. He was planning h

Latest Updates on war in Ukraine

Ukraine as on day 158 in tatters. According to the UN estimates of about 9.9 million have fled Ukraine mostly in Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Moldova, Belarus and Russia. The first shipment of grain is expected to leave Ukraine as early on August 1st. A deal was brokered for an uninterrupted shipments of grain leaving Ukraine in the Black sea. Ukraine's Zelensky says grains have been halved because of the war. The deal is expected to last for four months. The war has hit badly economies that have so long been dependent on ukraine's supply of grain. There are no early indications of either sides giving into or giving up. Russia seems impertinent and the cries seem to go unheard daily by russia. On the other hand Russia hasn't achieved any of it's objectives. It's likely to end only as a tirade of war of words just as it started as russian military exercise prior to February 23rd. The real victor will be russia's biggest mistake of the decade. T

Kay Burley

Well i've heard of dicky bird the famous cricketing umpire, but this blonde - no, she isn't a just some ordinary blonde girl you might think of you might not wish to take your eyes off walking in the streets. In the 1970s she went to work for sky news in the UK in the am broadcast. Today she has almost 34 years working for the channel in the breakfast news. This is the first time i've heard of her. The fascinating thing is she isn't considering retirement yet. She wants to be the next UK prime minister. Until now she has been doing news on politics. That's her favourite politics. She will be doing the next debate with rishi and truss covering it for sky news on the hashtag #ToryLeadershipRace for those of you interested you can tune in on 8PM BST Thursday, 4th August live on sky news. That's a small bio on her. Watch her perform live on sky news covering the debate. She might be answering questions unlike this time asking question if she is seriously

Papules v pustules

Papules are not pustules. Papules are small bumps or lesion on your skin..They don't have much significance. Regular washing of your skin with water you can avoid the formations of papules. They can occur anywhere in your skin. Usually where there's too much sweating in your body if not taken care of well then the chances of getting papules is high. Hence it's important to give to your body enough fresh air circulation to the clothes you wear will protect your body from such bumps or swellings. There's no necessity for any diagnosis because all your skin or body alarms you that your present hygiene isn't sufficient enough. Papules can develop into pustules with pus in the swelling, bump or lesions. This is more complicated. Instead of letting your papules developing into pustules you can prevent it initially with good hygiene.

Afghanistan: Only days apart

Just days away are we from Kabul when the Taliban regime will be celebrating the first anniversary after takeover from the old regime led by ex-president Ashraf Ghani. A recap of the incidents that led before and after the takeover on 15th August 2022 by the Taliban will be fitting to discuss in this article because of the 1st anniversary of the Taliban regime in kabul after 25 years. Before: Afghanistan is the only muslim country in the world which has been going through a series of disaster one followed by another like a domino effect. Begining with the soviet withdrawal the taliban came to power. When the taliban were in power the regime was not Afghanistan wasn't given the status of a nation, instead countries rejected them as a terrorist state. This included human rights abuses, hijacking, religious intolerance, fundamentalism, freedom of speech bans, underdevelopment, economic crisis, drugs and the list can go on. Since this began spread with a solid base the w

My life my story

I've been inspired to write this article after seeing a BBC News video on cafes in New Delhi helping out survivors who have gone through acid attacks. It's about rehabilitating the survivors to face the world after the trauma they've been through. My story just wants to add to the already newscast by the bbc to give the story more impetus, power and push to the next level of the story by bbc. Well I will begin by saying that I've been a transcriptionist as my last job. Presently I'm not doing that, and that isn't the reason why I'm telling the story of a person which I was given to transcribe for a client. As a transcriptionist I'm not supposed to disclose to anyone the contents of the file without prior permission, but I'm doing it because this will help so many others to look and be better. I'm not going to reveal the names, but only the story. The story is about a boy who was playing in the garage. Suddenly fire broke out and the l

Competition is good, but being jealous over others isn't a good competitive spirit. Recenty we've been coming across tussle in All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kalagam (AIADMK) over leadership as to who is right to lead the party. For those of you who are new and novice to this topic. AIADMK is a major party in the political circle. The late M.G. Ramachandran or known passionately as MGR is an actor turned politician is the founder of the party. For statistical reasons the party has ruled in Tamilnadu (former Madras) for 31 years. The leadership fell on the late J.Jayalalitha, popularly known as Amma (mother in the regional language) soon after M.G. Ramachandran passed away. She was the unanimous choice of the party to later become the General Secretary of AIADMK. Her death created a vacuum as to who will be the next leader in the space she had left behind. All this leadership in question is only an internal affair of the party to choose their leaders and who comes n

An insight into Srilanka today

At the outset I wish the new President of Srilanka my best wishes after all that the country had seen and witnessed lately. Mr. Ranil Wickremesinghe has another 18 months for his term to come to an end. What we saw just within 24 hours of his presidency there was a clamp down to bring normality to the region. Eighteen months can be just less than two years. We saw the news had reached far and wide. Also news got out by the white house in DC asked the nation's leaders to bring the country back to normalcy for it's own best interests. The nation has been having huge economic crisis lately which no other nation has been having in the present. It's vital and important for us not to ignore this nation. It's important also for all of us to bring this nation back on it's feet as early as possible. Note: Google has not yet updated the name of Mr. Ranil Wickremesinghe - President of Srilanka

Conservation efforts

Simply speaking conservation efforts can be foremost in the minds of conservationists is not to disrupt the food chain. If you're successful doing that then you've achieved your climate goals. A disruption to the food chain can increase the chances of epidemics, pandemic etc. Food chain to say about it is how interdependent is one class of living species is dependent on another class not necessarily from the same family tree. Botanically nitrogen fixation is important for the life of other species which live on feeding from the plants. The interdependence is plants depend on it's roots for nitrogen fixation. The birds, animals and other microorganisms in turn are dependent on the plants for it's own survival. If we fix the problem of not to disrupt or break away a food chain the human race which is dependent for its own progression on this planet is saved by nature. The word conservation in a broad sense refers to forests, terrestrial organisms and aquatic o

Know your climate

Climate emergency is a localised issue up to 90% of cases. Examples as in the cases of fires in an area is not caused 90% of the time because of global warming. Fires within a 30 km radius is a failure among the people or the authorities in that area. Global warming does not cause accidental fires. It is a slow process in comparison to a chemical reaction like an organic reaction in a laboratory. Hence we can broadly classify effects of global warming on one to fires and the other of melting of glaciers and icebergs causing frequent floods etc. Before coming to a conclusion in cases of wild fires we should also consider the radius of spreading of the fire. It's important to take care of the habitat the flora and the fauna in the surroundings without causing much damage to the flora and the fauna. It's extremely important because some of the damages can be irreversible. It's also important to check with the local authorities and the people who have been staying i

Is Kabul a heaven or haven?

Two room mates in the same hostel of opposite sex crossed each other everyday, but didn't speak to each other. What does it take to break the ice and open a friendly mutual respect conversation between them. It takes the weight of a polar bear to break the ice. You don't have to have a fight in between you to start a meaningful dialogue. All it takes is respect for there other person, a desire to know each other and it takes some courage instead of starting a fight. You don't have to put out a outward drama, because if you do that and the other person also does the same then two fakes can never wish for a true friendship. It is sincerity and not to fake something which you desire most to have. This is exactly what is happening in Afghanistan. Each other knows both the men and the women know how much they have respect for the other opposite sex, but they are struggling to bring it to fruition. An open conversation with all men and women in afghanistan will pave t

Liz Truss will be the next Prime Minister?

Here's what I've in my opinion. The results will be announced on September the 5th as to who becomes the conservative leader. The race is between two parties Liz Truss and Rishi Sunak the former Chancellor. Long story short the story started when top MPs in the cabinet started falling and the Prime Minister was to make clear his position. He resigned as the leader of the conservative party keeping the job as the Interim Prime Minister until the next conservative leader is elected who will become the next Prime Minister. This will happen soon after the house of commons meets next after the summer recess. There are two more years to complete before a general election can next be held. The foreign secretary Liz Truss and the former chancellor are the final contenders in the race to become the next leader of the conservative party and automatically will be the next prime minister. The issues on which they got elected briefly was on: 1. Brexit: Soon after boris johnson

Rajinikanth

In one recent book release event rajinikanth gave a speech. I don't want to get into the speech because the media has already done it. In my opinion the speech would have been more fitting to him had he said, instead of (...) I've received so many awards nationally and internationally that leaves me happy that would have changed the tone and left the audience in shock and surprise. He is always portrayed as a happy person on the screen. Whether when he was in villains role or as a hero he is a successful and happy man on the screen. Here's the video link to the speech in tamil. BBC Tamil - Rajinikanth speech

NEET Exam

It's unnecessarily dragging the court into an embarrassing situation, such as the one that has taken place in Kerala. It's alright that the exam authority has displayed a sign board outside at the entrance of the exam centre. Just as the do's and the dont's displayed outside, students can be given a printed list of the do's and the dont's having everything on sign board with the picture of the signs with a check box for the student to check the boxes as part of the hall tickets to be carried by all students. Before entering the checklist can be verified same as the case with hall ticket verification. In the case of any violation on the part of the student can be taken up for action against the violating or defaulting student as per the rules. In the present case there isn't proper proof as there is nothing in writing. If the mistake was on the part of the authority the honourable court must take appropriate action against the person or the studen

Mental health v physical health

From a physical observation these are the physical characteristics in comparison. Please read the disclosure statement in the end of the article: Mental health v physical health: M: Psychological or otherwise mental illness doesn't have any physical form or appearances. P: Physical illness has physical appearances such as cancer or bleeding from an injury or cut. M: The more we talk about the illness the progress becomes rapid. P: This isn't the case always with a physical illness (injury, cuts, internal bleeding etc.). M: The illness progresses rapidly or progressive in isolation. P: This isn't the case, sometimes PI require isolation in extreme cases such as admissions into the Intensive Care Units (ICU). M: Support of entire family or friends is required . P: Not necessarily required. M: Medications can help depending the nature of illness. P: Ditto. M: No specific recovery time. P: Has a specific time a patient can recover in a few weeks to a month. Srilanka Economic Crisis

Under the present conditions prevailing the President or the speaker whoever has the powers or the Supreme court judge or the justices including all the present and from the past should be considering a referendum under the law. In order to revive back faster the conditions are much favorable for a referendum than any other political move. Any other political move will be not favorable. Just under three days to make a decision first and foremost the nation has to unite. The higher call is for transparency more than a facelift. Simply a headcount of the prevailing ruling and other leaders isn't enough. Leadership must be inclusive including the present generation of leaders. Not just emptying of old wine into a new bottle. A new generation of leaders must emerge. As the saying the old paves the way for the new. Summary: 1. Respond to higher calling. 2. Transparency. 3. & 4. Fast recovery and future plans. 5. National unity. 6. Referendum.

Stop crying over...

For one reason or the other russia the former soviet union has tried to paint for itself a bad image of itself in the eyes of the world. At one time they joined force against the nazi germany putting an end to barbaric killings of 6million jews during the holocaust. Subsequent to that as it has always been the divide between the west and the east stayed after the war. While the west continues to portray itself as the big brother the east shows itself as the prodigal child. Next both of the brothers will meet again as it is in the parable of the prodigal sons. The eldest son stayed with the father taking care of the family property while the youngest son left after claiming his share of his father's property. Then coming back to his father seeking for work in the property of his father. Neither the west or the east have learnt their lessons as is in the parable. When one talks of democracy the other talks about oligarchs. The parable is a lesson for the west and the east

The next person should have this quality to become a leader

This question is so important as to who will take after boris johnson as the next leader of the conservative party? Two contestants in the race is not my obvious choice for the reason below: 1. Rishi Sunak for the simple reason that he doesn't command the respect of the people. It's a waste trying him. It's like trying out a shirt or pant in the trial room and then rejecting it because it wasn't your fit. This isn't a trial room in a showroom. It takes purpose, responsibility and a clear reason for running the race. In all three counts Rishi fails. I'm not going in from what he did in the past or what he said. I'm seeing in the present coming to this conclusion. In short he has no fire. 2. Penny Mordaunt: Again for the same reason, but slightly different. She too doesn't have the fire. If she is here only to eliminate the male bastions, then she is wrong. Nothing except her first name and nothing beyond it can explain any of the above thre

Today in PMQs 13/07/2022

Today was the first day the prime minister attended the PMQs after he had resigned last Thursday from conservative leadership. It started off when the prime minister soon as he entered there wasn't the usual mixed cheering. It started with jeering with loud noise inside the house quite the opposite charisma he had held until now. The week before saw more than 60 mps giving their resignations putting pressure on the prime minister to give his resignation. A series of incidents triggered the outcome of last week and the worst to ever happen to him was the appointment of chris pincher by the prime minister. He wasn't in his usual to throw punches at the opposition from what happened last week. The PMQs started with tributes paid to the late prime minister shinzo abe of Japan assassination last week, followed by questions from the opposition and the snp. It's still unclear who will be his successor. Next week will be crucial for him to address some of the important

General Elections? UK

With the leadership race going on with the conservatives it's still not clear who will be elected the leader of the conservative party. The resignation of the interim prime minister as the leader of the conservative party last thursday at around 5pm ist has set this in motion. We will see how the parliament works first. It's the only nation in the world that doesn't have a written constitution. This literally means the parliament begins and ends with people and not on any written constitution. By default a government will fall when the people lose trust in their leader  i.e. the prime minister of the country who is a natural leader of the party that runs the goverment. The race for the leader of the ruling party was set in motion when the prime minister resigned as the leader because of pressure from mps in his party. His leadership fell and there is now the race first to elect their leader. Once their party leader is elected then they will head the government.

Joe Biden

It was a treat to watch Joe Biden honouring the three time olympic gymnast with the highest civil honour in the country with the freedom medal. She Simone Biles becomes the youngest in the history to get this honour. As we're are hearing and seeing effects of climate changes on us this was just a treat for your eyes. No one can forget some of the best gymnasts in history and Miss Biles is no exception. Although we could have moved faster on preventing and stopping some of the effects of climate change. But, does incentives always work? The answer is a definitive no. We should be working for achievable goals. It's important to come out of the past. The past has no longer power on any of us. I will conclude by saying your happiness doubles when you share it with someone. With this positive spirit think of the benefits of failure. Heroes are people just like you and me. The difference being they are out practicing when you're sleeping. Remember you too can be, beco

Russia

His mouth is where the money is, this being the main propaganda of this waste economy. It started as an exercise outside of Ukraine. NATO and the G7 countries must have acted fast. They should have sealed off all borders before a Russian circus could land a place well before they could organize. This required political will not just men and artillery. There was enough time for all this and it could have happened well before 2014 annexation of crimea. The west has been a silent spectator waiting for the umbrella to open. Eight years of silence has cost 750 billion dollars to rebuild Ukraine. Will the west and it's allies close all the borders where russia will turn next? In the meantime, nowhere there has been a crisis of political nature. Political circles were going on and doing well just as Jen Psaki kept repeating the slogan 'circle back.' This went on repeating until long enough people will forget it and stop talking about. It's easy to pinpoint what ru

Economy

It got concluded just as the people wanted for those who shouted "bye boris" at a time when the world is going through serious economic crisis gaps have started showing in them. With part of the furlough schemes still going on there is serious concern over increased taxes making it hard for the people. Simultaneously to solve the environmental crisis. This is a problem for everyone and only then we can keep moving. Cost of living has tripled in some of the small economies. The problem cannot be an unending debate. First and foremost we have seen environmental disasters far more frequent now. The challenges are plenty, but not all are threatening. As much as possible we have to find consensus wherever it is possible. As I see it the economic crisis we face today wouldn't last far more than ten years from now. These are just like topping on a pizza and it can be changed at any time.

Boris

The tenure of Boris Johnson witnessed and saw challenges since the time he was elected leader of the conservative party. Beginning with the polls before christmas. The sun never set after that. Although it was a clear mandate for the party there was no time for celebration. Next was brexit on the cards. It wasn't a hard brexit as it was planned. Brussels served time until the new prime minister took office. After that there wasn't enough time. By and large brexit happened. The next challenge was covid that took the world by storm. Time was planned for vaccinations and boris took to covid and was hospitalized. For a month he was convalescing although he attended PMQs in that period. Covid threw out many challenges over the next two years. For people for whom science wasn't their syllabus in schools with hope and faith the world was recovering. Next was the big decision of the US to pull out of Afghanistan and all it's allies together. The instability continue

Afghanistan

With just over a month or less the ruling elected democracy fled kabul the capital city of afghanistan. Since then the region had been witnessing tons of problems. With radio and tv broadcasts doing the rounds almost everyday since first kabul came under siege on 15th August 2021. The region one of India's neighbour on the east, to the north of pakistan when celebrations in india was happening on india's independence day. Exactly in another 40 days Afghanistan will open again a new chapter in history. For almost two decades the region hadn't seen anything of the sorts it is going through now in the last 365 days socially, politically or environmentally. As part of the region equality, stability and prosperity is of utmost importance for all others in the region. With just three days left to close into an opening of a new chapter for everyone living inside and outside of kabul the gap needs to closed. Responsibility lies with everyone to make south asia a safe an

Crocodile tears

I think every person has heard this sometime somewhere in a lifetime. As a rule this phrase is used directing at women. Why? Because women are used to crying a lot. But, a lot of time this is talked only when you were at school. A school mate, class mate might have told you this when you were in school. This is when a person a girl or a boy cries over something in the playtime to tell you to stop crying the phrase is used. Well this is better way to ask someone to stop crying instead of telling them to stop crying rudely. Alright where and when it started? Perhaps we can assume from the time of stories when it began. We cannot give an exact date and time when and where it started. Most or all of us are used listening to stories. Sometimes horror stories sometime sad stories. We can notice people getting emotional watching a movie or reading a book. Alright how can we conclude that these are crocodile and others are not? Emotions are physical and mental. So physical emotions

Climate Activism

It's high time for climate activists to become more productive in their work rather than look like a someone just arrived at the scene fresh as a student of journalism. Climate activists have to and look different from like journos working for a TV station, ad agencies or a news reporter. I understand there is no school to teach them to look professional. They have just come out of self interest. Foremost they shouldn't look for sponsors to carry with their profession. It would be unprofessional to do so. They have to use their experience and aim higher instead look alike a preacher in a campus. First and foremost they should love to travel. They have to find and be ready to work projects outside their own country or in a foreign land. They have to look like climate ambassadors. As I've mentioned earlier they must aim higher. An athelete or a sportsman trains first begining in school. Then depending upon the amount of training he puts he keeps climbing. I can re

Climate Change V Rough Sleeping Part 2

Climate justice cannot be achieved by ignoring the man on the street. He is the one most affected by climate crisis. Where there's a need we begin finding solutions for our problems. It's important and foremost to address the problem of rough sleepers. Everyone must concentrate to put this problem once and for all. Just as scientists address the problems of epidemic, pandemics etc climate scientists must address the problem of rough sleepers. "Corporations and philanthropists must come together and take it up as one of their problems to address." Just handing out a dollar to a man or woman on the street you are not solving their problem or meeting their needs. Just as an epidemic or a pandemic rough sleeping is also a big problem to address the needs of the society, community or nation at large. It's important to explore not just address 'rough sleeping' as anything you might call. In the future we'll have more children, adults and aged peo

Srilanka Crisis

The current crisis faced by our neighbouring Srilanka is nothing more than a shadow cast by India on it's tiny neighbour. India did not want it's neighbour do well. It has done all it can possibly do to bring Srilanka to its present situation. India's selfishness and self-centered nature has brought this tiny island nation almost to a standstill. After all this India is behaving like it's a saviour to solve Srilanka's problems. If Srilanka was allowed to govern by itself Srilanka would have been far more better than it is now. India has tried to pull Srilanka into all kinds of problems. Handing over of Katchatheevu was not with good intentions. It was a small bait for a big fish. Srilanka was tricked into accepting Katchatheevu in return for handing over Srilanka to it's much bigger neighbour India. This is a wake up call for the island nation to examine who are the real friends and who are time-servers. Srilanka will not get another better opportuni

Importance of translation

I'm writing this article to stress the importance of translation. In an universe driven by technology most or all messages in the internet come in major 50 languages for which quite a good or fair amount of translations from one language to another is available. Google translate gives a fair amount of translation for 50 languages. For others it is still being done or the work is in progress to include more languages for translations to be available. It's a cumbersome work where there are new words being added everyday or technology words or scientific words for which translations still lag behind. The reason could be only scholars well versed will be able to do it and then for it to be included for the public use it again takes time. We have to find a way to bridge the gaps in order to minimize crime, falling prey to cheating online etc. The important lesson here is we must not take law into our hands. Information in freely available today on the internet. Just beca

Pride Month

June every year is recognised as a month for the Pride group of people. The members of this group belong to the same sex male and female couples. There are different groups under the Pride group. Overall they all come under the Pride group of gay and lesbian couples and the just concluded month is given to them in recognition of this group of people. Universally sex between male and female is considered to be normal and also marriages are recognised only between a man an a woman. This is the accepted and recognised norm. Can we look at people under this group same as people with physical and mental disabilities? I think the sports community has started seeing them already. There are protests over the women belonging to this group to take part in international events for women. There are reasons given for that. Gay women belonging to this group prove to do better than the normal women in sports. Tests have attributed the reason for this being higher testosterone levels in the women belo

CHOGM Meet

CHOGM is an acronym stands for Common Wealth Heads Of Governments is a free to join any former country that was ruled by the British. The significance to form a canopy of all former British ruled states is of importance because of the vast potential all former colonies of the British can use and learn after they became independent or as republics. The CHOGM meet is used to address the needs of it's former colonies and discuss. It's also an opportunity for all former colonies face-to-face representatives of the heads of government's coming together to meet and discuss. The recently concluded meet was in Rwanda. The meet was chaired by Prince of Wales. Most recently a proposal was to send refugees coming into the UK to Rwanda. The proposal was challenged by lawyers in Brussels. Subsequently in response some called it as a racist act by EU. However, a flight to carry the first batch of refugees to Rwanda didn't take place. Rwanda being a former British colony doesn't g

Climate Change

In a historic ruling the US Supreme Court has ruled out and given the federal states to have their own rules and laws in regards to policy on climate change. The decision of the US supreme court is of importance because the decision implicitly denies Washington the rights to decide on climate policy of the federal states with the old rules in place. In order for Washington to decide climate policy on behalf or for the entire country it has to come up with a bill to be passed by the congress. In a spate of controversial rulings recently by the US supreme court it overturned abortion laws making it illegal, it made gun laws more accessible to the public and three now this passing orders on climate policy. California has been hit a democrats ruled state with recent and regular wild fires due to climate change. The most recent ruling makes it difficult for Washington to make laws for the federal states with regards to climate policies and to make it compulsory for the entire co
