My life my story

I've been inspired to write this article after seeing a BBC News video on cafes in New Delhi helping out survivors who have gone through acid attacks. It's about rehabilitating the survivors to face the world after the trauma they've been through. My story just wants to add to the already newscast by the bbc to give the story more impetus, power and push to the next level of the story by bbc. Well I will begin by saying that I've been a transcriptionist as my last job. Presently I'm not doing that, and that isn't the reason why I'm telling the story of a person which I was given to transcribe for a client. As a transcriptionist I'm not supposed to disclose to anyone the contents of the file without prior permission, but I'm doing it because this will help so many others to look and be better. I'm not going to reveal the names, but only the story. The story is about a boy who was playing in the garage. Suddenly fire broke out and the lad received third degree burns. He could almost have died because the injury was more than 75% and in his city there was no one who could treat him or save him. But, with the help of God the parents took him to a hospital far away and he was treated. The boy had to rehabilitate on his own to enter the mainstream just like everyone else. He was on physical therapy, medications and hospital support to recover. This was going on and he could not even tie his shoe lace because his hands and fingers didn't allow him to do after the accident. On one day finally he was able to tie his shoe lace and that day was the turning point in his life. Today he shares his story with others touring and trying to help others who have been through similar traumas in their own life. He is an inspiration to so many others not to give up hope, courage and strength in their lives. Okay, if you like the story please pass it on. Like him there is a turning point in everyone's life. Until then never lose hope, courage and your strength to go on.

Kamala Harris: Missing the Moment to Define Her Leadership

Transcript: The recent debate featuring Kamala Harris and Donald Trump was an important moment for the Democratic nominee to solidify her position as a leader. Yet, instead of seizing the opportunity to project confidence and vision, Kamala seemed to falter, weighed down by personal fears and memories of long-standing struggles. A key point that stood out was how Kamala Harris seemed to forget the very words she once made her mantra in her career as a prosecutor: "Kamala Harris for the people." These five words, often repeated by her during her time in courtrooms, represented her fight for justice and equality. However, during the debate, this sense of purpose seemed absent. The stage was set for her to remind everyone why she was the candidate for all people, but she failed to deliver a message that would resonate on that larger stage. Rather than focusing on a forward-thinking vision, Harris spent much of her time reflecting on the negatives, particularly issues of racism, ...

We Are Not Running Out of Time—We’re Wasting It

In a world teeming with opportunities, it’s not time that we lack, but the wisdom to seize the moment. We often hear the refrain, “We’re running out of time,” as if the hours slip through our fingers like grains of sand. But the truth is, we have ample time; we’re just not using it effectively. Instead of harnessing the abundant opportunities around us, we find ourselves bogged down by distractions, procrastination, and indecision. Consider the metaphor: we are knee-deep in water, yet crying for sheep. The water represents the wealth of resources, knowledge, and chances that surround us. Yet, rather than utilizing what’s at our disposal, we waste time lamenting what we don’t have, or worse, chasing after things that don’t truly matter. This misplaced focus leads to frustration and a sense of urgency that is entirely self-imposed. The real crisis isn’t a shortage of time, but a failure to make the most of what we have. Every moment we waste is a moment we could have spent building, lear...
