For one reason or the other russia the former soviet union has tried to paint for itself a bad image of itself in the eyes of the world. At one time they joined force against the nazi germany putting an end to barbaric killings of 6million jews during the holocaust. Subsequent to that as it has always been the divide between the west and the east stayed after the war. While the west continues to portray itself as the big brother the east shows itself as the prodigal child. Next both of the brothers will meet again as it is in the parable of the prodigal sons. The eldest son stayed with the father taking care of the family property while the youngest son left after claiming his share of his father's property. Then coming back to his father seeking for work in the property of his father. Neither the west or the east have learnt their lessons as is in the parable. When one talks of democracy the other talks about oligarchs. The parable is a lesson for the west and the east to learn from the parable and come together atleast now. The story is not a product of christianity or bible, but came to me as an inspiration from the quran.
