This is exactly the Chancellor has admitted for scraping the 45p income tax concession. We saw the pound crash and the dissent and opposition from the public, the MPs and the constituents. There wasn't given an appropriate reason for not going through it in the budget. Instead Chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng has said it as a good policy, but has been a great 'distraction.' Whatever it is now Prime Minister has to come up with another same proposal with the same intention of introducing 45p tax cut. The tax cut if it had gone through would have benefited millions. It's the duty of the Prime Minister to bring an alternative proposal and not a new proposal. Prime Minister Liz Truss clearly understands with just a month in the job she has faced the biggest rebuttal of her two-year government. Before the next General Elections Prime Minister Truss has an obligation and responsibility for all her actions for the next 2 years until her Government shall remain in power. PM Truss must have a reason for the U-turn. The party, public and the people have an obligation for a reason from the Prime Minister. In the future all her Government actions ate going to reflect this U-turn. This is a 'distraction' for her and not only the public. Hopefully, the Prime Minister can make a reason before her next public appearance. This we trust from the Prime Minister. Not only an explanation, but a reason. God save the King!!
