Riots across France and the capital Paris after French police shot and killed a teenage boy. President Emmanuel Macron has called this “unforgivable” and soon justice would be done for the victim. The rioters are calling this as racial profiling.
The incident follows after President Macron had used his presidential powers and involving the court to pass a verdict to legalise a bill he had introduced in the parliament extending the retirement age from 62 to 64. The court gave an approval for the bill months after protests opposing approval for the bill inside and outside parliament. The approval has extended the retirement age from 62 to 64 by another two years. This is the style of dictatorship in France.
