Medaram Floods: Livelihoods lost due to floods

This is the situation in Andhra Pradesh in Medaram where flash floods have swept away the livelihood of the people. What earning they earned from selling earrings, bangles is put to an end because of the flash floods.

The entire inventory between 2,00,000-3,00,000 lakh rupees from each household is lost because of the floods. When again they can repair their lives is an open question? The total value of the loss suffered by the population can be estimated to be around to be a few crores to tens of crores of rupees.

If this again repeats then we can conclude by saying the one and only option left to them would be to end their lives. Is the entire country going to sit back and watch all this to happen before their eyes?
